a  partially arbitrary choice. one could cite many other examples no doubt. but the following has been in the wind, so to speak, recently. and it’s not just the music itself, as brilliant as it is. it’s the fact of the commitment of Kronos to commissioning music from composers and musicians from all parts of the world, as well as recording music not generally palatable, that otherwise would not be heard.
